What is DocDaily?
DocDaily is a cloud-based Hospital Management System (HMS) and Electronic Health Record (EHR) software built specifically for Indian doctors, clinics, and hospitals. It lets you manage your entire practice digitally — patient registration, OPD/IPD workflows, digital prescriptions, billing, pharmacy, lab reports, and analytics — all in one platform, accessible from any device.

What is the difference between HMS, EHR, and EMR?
EMR (Electronic Medical Record) is the digital version of a patient's paper chart — stays within one clinic. EHR (Electronic Health Record) is broader and can be shared across care settings. HMS (Hospital Management System) is the complete software system managing your entire hospital — appointments, billing, pharmacy, lab, staff, and more. DocDaily combines all three into one complete digital practice management solution.
Can I access DocDaily from my smartphone or any device?
Yes. DocDaily is fully cloud-based and runs in any modern web browser — desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone. No installation, no hardware requirements. Access patient records, write prescriptions, or review reports from your home, clinic, hospital ward, or anywhere with an internet connection.
Can DocDaily support multiple doctors in one hospital?
Absolutely. DocDaily supports both solo practitioners and large multi-specialty hospitals. You can add unlimited doctors, configure specialty-specific templates per doctor, set individual appointment slots, and view doctor-wise or department-wise analytics. Plans are priced per doctor so you only pay for what you need.
Which medical specialties does DocDaily support?
DocDaily supports all major specialties including General Medicine, Orthopaedics, Gynaecology & OBG, Paediatrics, Dentistry, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Dermatology, ENT, Neurology, Pulmonology, Surgery, Urology, Oncology, Radiology, and Pathology. Specialty-specific prescription templates are available, and custom templates can be configured on request.
Does DocDaily require an internet connection at all times?
Since DocDaily is cloud-based, a stable internet connection is required. A basic broadband or 4G mobile data connection is sufficient. We recommend having a backup mobile hotspot at your clinic for continuity in case your primary connection experiences downtime.
Can I try DocDaily before purchasing?
Yes. You can schedule a free personalised demo with our team. We walk you through the full system via screen-sharing tailored to your specialty and practice size — no sales pressure. Ask all your questions and see real examples before deciding.
Is DocDaily available in Hindi or regional Indian languages?
DocDaily currently operates in English, the standard for medical documentation in India. Prescription and billing templates support custom letterhead text in any language. Regional language UI support is on our roadmap — contact us if your language requirement is specific.

How does OPD management work in DocDaily?
Your receptionist registers each patient at the front desk. The doctor sees a live OPD queue, opens the patient's record, reviews past history, enters examination findings, writes a digital prescription, orders lab tests, and generates a bill — all without paper. OPD visit summaries are automatically saved to the patient's permanent record for future reference.
What IPD features does DocDaily offer?
DocDaily's IPD module covers:

  • Operation Theatre (OT) records

How do digital prescriptions work? Can I print or share them?
Writing a prescription takes under 60 seconds. You can:
  • Search drugs from a pre-loaded local drug database
  • Set dosage, frequency, duration, and instructions
  • Save templates for common conditions (e.g. "Viral Fever") for one-click reuse
  • Repeat a previous prescription instantly
  • Print on your clinic's custom letterhead
Can I manage appointments for multiple doctors?
Yes. DocDaily includes a full appointment calendar with daily, weekly, and monthly views. Each doctor has their own configurable schedule with specialty-specific time slots. Your reception desk can book, reschedule, and cancel in seconds. The system prevents double-booking and shows real-time availability across all doctors.
How does DocDaily handle lab and radiology reports?
You can enter lab results using predefined templates (CBC, LFT, KFT, lipid profile, etc.) or upload scanned reports as PDF/images. All reports are attached to the patient's permanent record. Formatted lab reports can be printed on your centre's letterhead.
Does DocDaily manage in-house pharmacy stock?
Yes. The pharmacy module tracks complete medicine inventory, stock levels, expiry dates, and sends low-stock and expiry alerts. When a doctor prescribes a drug available in stock, it can be dispensed and billed directly — all linked to the patient's visit record.
What analytics and reports does DocDaily provide?
DocDaily's real-time dashboard shows:
  • Daily OPD and IPD patient counts
  • Revenue by day, week, or month
  • Doctor-wise statistics
  • Top diagnoses and common treatments
  • Outstanding payments and collection summaries
  • Pharmacy stock and dispensing reports

What are DocDaily's pricing plans?
DocDaily offers three plans:
  • Monthly — ₹549/month: All core features, ideal for solo clinics. This plan applies to 1 doctor setup. For any additional doctors or any extra account within hospital additional ₹99/month applicable.
  • Yearly — ₹5,999/year (~₹500/month): Saves ₹589 vs monthly. Includes priority support, IPD management, custom templates. This plan applies to 1 doctor setup. For any additional doctors or any extra account within hospital additional ₹999/month applicable.
  • Enterprise — Custom pricing: For 10+ doctor hospitals. Includes multi-location, 24/7 support, and on-site training.

Are there any hidden charges or setup fees?
No. There are no setup fees, no installation charges, and no hidden costs. You only pay the plan price per doctor per period. Software updates, cloud storage, and standard customer support are all included in your plan.
What payment methods are accepted?
All major Indian payment methods are accepted — UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), debit/credit cards, net banking, and bank transfers. GST-compliant tax invoices are generated automatically and emailed to you. Enterprise customers can use invoice-based billing with PO numbers.
Can I upgrade or change my plan later?
Yes. You can upgrade from Monthly to Yearly at any time — the difference is prorated and adjusted. Adding more doctors mid-cycle is also supported. To move to the Enterprise plan, contact our team and we'll configure a custom plan for your hospital.
Can I cancel my subscription? What is the refund policy?
No long-term contracts. Monthly subscribers can cancel anytime with no penalty. For Yearly plans, a full refund is issued if cancelled within 7 days of purchase and the service has not been used. After 7 days, the subscription runs until the end of the billing period. Contact us for any billing concerns.
Do I get a GST invoice for my DocDaily subscription?
Yes. Every payment generates a GST-compliant tax invoice sent to your registered email. All past invoices are accessible from your account billing section anytime. This is useful if your hospital claims software expenses as business expenditure.

Data & Security

What happens to my data if my computer crashes or the internet goes down?
Nothing is lost. Because DocDaily is cloud-based, all data lives on our servers — not on your local computer. If your computer crashes or gets stolen, patient records remain safe and accessible from any other device. Automatic daily cloud backups add an additional layer of protection. No manual backups needed.
Who in my staff can access patient records?
DocDaily uses role-based access control:
  • Doctors — full clinical records and prescriptions
  • Receptionists — appointments, registration, billing only
  • Nurses — nursing notes, vitals, IPD ward details
  • Pharmacists — dispensing and stock; no clinical records
  • Administrator — full access including reports and settings
Can I export or download my patient data?
Your data belongs to you. You can export patient data at any time in standard formats (CSV, PDF). If you stop using DocDaily, you can request a full data export and we'll deliver it. Data portability is a core principle — we do not hold your data hostage.
Is my patient data ever shared with or sold to third parties?
Never. DocDaily does not share, sell, rent, or disclose patient data to any third party — including advertisers, pharmaceutical companies, or insurance firms. Patient data is used solely to operate the service for your clinic. This is a firm commitment backed by our Privacy Policy.

Setup & Support

How long does it take to set up DocDaily?
Most clinics are fully operational the same day. A typical setup — creating clinic and doctor profiles, configuring letterhead and prescription templates, adding staff accounts, and team walkthrough — takes 60–90 minutes via a guided screen-sharing session with our onboarding team.
Do I need an IT team to use DocDaily?
Not at all. DocDaily is designed for doctors, receptionists, and nursing staff — not IT professionals. If you can use WhatsApp, you can use DocDaily. No installation, no server management, no technical maintenance required. Our team handles everything on the backend.
Do you provide training for my staff?
Yes. Every new account includes onboarding training for your full team via screen-sharing at a time convenient for you. We also provide video tutorials and help documentation. Enterprise customers can avail on-site training at their hospital.
How do I get support if I face an issue?
Our support team is available Monday to Saturday, 9 AM – 6 PM IST via:Yearly and Enterprise plan customers get a dedicated account manager for priority support.
Are software updates free? Do I need to do anything for updates?
All updates are included in your plan at no extra cost and happen automatically on our servers. You never need to download or install anything. New features appear in your account automatically, and we notify you of significant releases via in-app announcements.
What hardware do I need to use DocDaily?
Just:
  • A computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone (any OS)
  • A modern web browser
  • A stable internet connection (basic broadband or 4G)
For printing, any standard USB or network printer works. No dedicated server, no special hardware, no IT investment required.
